maybe you'll hit 3200+, maybe you wont

there's no vcore or mult adjust, only fsb

so if anything, since pci/agp is unlocked, you could take the fsb from 166 to anywhere around ~200

Running a combo at 3200+ speed (200FSB), memory at 166Mhz (PC2700) with stock cooler which has a copper slug. No errors in Memtest and Prime 95 (8 hour runs each).

Put in some PC3200 and it should run the memory at 200Mhz.

Get a good power supply and don't forget to plug in the extra 12v connector

As AkumaX pointed out there are no voltage adjustements.

As usual YMMV.

ECS boards are not usually good for o/c-ing because they usually don't include all the controls you need in the BIOS. OTOH, this deal's a no brainer. The lowest price for this chip on pricewatch.com for the retail chip, alone, is $78.99 (plus shipping) so this is a great deal for a strong basic machine. If you want to o/c the chip, buy the combo, sell the board to a friend at a great price, and use the money to lower your cost for the board you want.

blacklit: Why don't you keep the Shuttle and sell the ECS board. The Shuttle is one of the best valued Nforce boards and has fair O/C options.

I took back my 2600 OEM/n2u400a combo that i bought last week for $79 and bought this combo. it's a better deal IMO.

I have one of these boards running in a test rig with a 2500+ & corsair value select pc3200 2x256mb at 200fsb (mem & cpu) 2.2ghz totally stable with a speeze whisperrock II @ about 33c idle/47c prime95 load. I'm just now testing it at 210fsb 2.31ghz to see how she handles it.

there is no voltage adjustments so you're SOL as far as that goes. the only adjustments are FSB and it's ratio between the FSB & CPU speed. (like Scaramouche said above)

your only real hope of OC'ing with this board is with some good ram & a decent hsf.

update: this rig is totally stable at 210fsb (prime95) 48c with the hardware I listed. (cpu & ram running at 210) 2.31ghz

tell me about it. my NF7-S, watercooled 2500+ @ 2.4ghz / 218x11 / 2.0vcore & XMS pc3500 C2 BH-5 doesn't do much better than this budget combo.
