hmmm i added it to cart and noticed something interesting.... some bastard got into my account and changed the name on the account and shipping address but "conveniently" left my credit card info and billing address. call outpost and they wouldnt let me fix it because it wasnt my name on the account even though it was my credit card....

word to the weary, check you account info thoroughly before purchasing. although i hear that outpost is generally pretty good... i heard this happened to a couple other people too.

does erasing his info make it any better... the fact is that if he has access to your account he had access to you credit card info. thanks for being a jackass.

ps... i did erase his name... it "reappeared the next day", i changed my password (using a different computer) and everything. i even asked outpost to delete my account and they said they couldnt? wtf?

You should tell your credit card company to not accept any charges from Outpost then that way he can't do anything unless he has your credit card number.

yeah outpost shows the whole credit card number and expiration date on your account (most companies do that *********last 4 digits thing). so i cancelled the credit card already. thanks for the suggestion though.

I've brought several ECS boards and never had to return any of them. I've had more trouble with ASUS boards than ECS.
