I hoped at least some of the five links I provided (uk.hardware, reuters, trefis...) to be of some utility. How wrong I was!
i found it interesting, but those titles are a bit misleading. For example, the "How Did AMD Garner 20% Market Share" article admits inside that's only 14%, and you reported the "I'll be back" slogan for the Centurion. We've known AMD to be overspending for a while now, so the increased operational efficiency is more like "finally they're not spending more than they've got".
It is interesting to see, even though I'm not really seeing a point (as in, I'm unsure as to what you are trying to prove). But in the interest of furthering discussion,
