After cruising various sites I'm to assume that there isn't currently any AMD boards widely available on the market to support PCI-E atm. Am I correct in this determination? I'm not really interested in SLI, what it comes down to with me is the fact that I needed a new card and ordered a 6600GT which is PCIE, putting the cart before the horse I know. Really what happened is my dumb self wasn't paying attention and really keeping up with the technology since my last build and was putting the card in my Nforce2 board when I realized.... err this thing isn't AGP. Lol Well it's time to upgrade my old xp2100 cpu anyway so instead of trading the card out for a higher priced AGP version it seems to make more sense to do the upgrades that I need to do anyway but was putting off.
Is there any non SLI but PCIE AMD boards out there now? It needs to have decent preformance but I'm not willing to chunk out 200+ for the nforce4 SLI boards in a month when I really only need 1 card. Heck my old 4200 64 mb plays World of Warcraft well enough but needs a little improvement and since that's mostly what I use my home system for anyway...
Anyway, any suggestions?
