I'm assuming Vega to be branded like Fury, probably with an additional "X" thrown in depending upon the model.

At this point, why even bother trying to have a halo-product/tier if you're going to keep changing the name? I personally don't like "RX Vega" and I hope they change it. Working in a hospital, RX will always mean "prescription" to me, and "Prescription Vega" sounds awful.

Yet again, I feel RTG's strongest asset is also their worst presenter. Oh well, I don't love ATI for their presentations. Here is to hoping their tech continues to create standards.

If it's similar to the last nano and if there is a case where it would actually benefit me to have this? Sure.

Problem is there aren't many cases where that size is actually necessary. Need more compact cases to make it useful I'm more interested in them keeping the wc top of the line card but allowing aib designs too.

Yes. I'm hoping they don't pull that "Titanesque" crap again and not allow AIB designs. Even though I'[ve never seen an AIB come out with anything that would have been better than FuryX, I know there were people who wished it had a high end air cooler on it instead. Then there was the "It needs liquid cooling" Trolling too that AMD didn't really need.

It just doesn't hurt.

Amd can even market its they aren't charging extra for wc cooling or whatever. They're giving their customers freedom of choice.

The wc design is nice, but when fury x was heavily discounted I did want to use it as a stop gap, but having to redo my whole cooling configuration for a couple months was not a large incentive.

Just give us options and don't screw us..
If amd can pull a Ryzen with Vega, then it won't matter what the competition has. Vega will be able to stand on its own as a good value just like I believe Ryzen is doing now.
