If they are on the US$400 sub market, they have a chance
Because Intel is retarded and selling at that prices some Core i3 U. AMD is not competitive enough to sell for more. You should do some homework before posting such non sense, either you know the perfs and can have a discussion, or else you re just flooding the thread with random statements...
Tell us why it should be at 400$, i m all ears...
I guess that it s said with the same competent expertise that made you state this :
I doubt you have actually ran it it works just fine

Also I said, SUB US$400
Carrizo is a paper launch product, you have to agree.
Pretty sure AMD has been rolling out drivers with extra care taken of frame pacing since 2013.Carrizo is a paper launch product, you have to agree.
With micro stutter. If you can live with it, fine for you. Don't speak for all.
I rarely saw someone that was of so bad faith as to lie in front of everybody, i guess that Carrizo is the source of much desperation for some usual suspects...
It is written "in stock" and was posted the previous page :

So i have to agree to what..?
On June 2nd AMD sent a bunch of marketing slides, but no hardware, to Anandtech. Definately a paper launch.
Where are the reviews? Why didn't AMD send out hardware like they have in the past? Are they not confident in their product or can they simple not afford to do it anymore?
Now its 7 weeks later and you are saying that existence of a single laptop on newegg ushers in the real launch of the product? I agree with you that Carrizo is launched, or at least as launched as its going to ever be. The stack of marketing slides was the only launch Carrizo will get.

Comparisons with Intel BDW can be found here :
On a marketing slide from AMD lol. A typical Abwx. We are still waiting for some real tests from production notebooks.
You're not the same mikk, who jumped on leaked Intel marketing slides before waiting for some real product tests? On a marketing slide from AMD lol. A typical Abwx. We are still waiting for some real tests from production notebooks.
Surely the new GPU king in the tablet space next year by a big margin. I think for gaming the CPU is a bigger problem with Cherry Trail.

BTW, I don't care about soccer fan like behaviour in those forums. I'd just like to see more signs of the intelligence usually attributed to tech geeks.
In the meantime we are still waiting for some real tests based on notebooks on sale.
Score :The CPU tests of the Cinebench benchmarks were performed with a consistent 1.7 GHz. All Turbo levels were maxed out in AC mode.
LOL, this is the kind of reviews used by our resident intel supporters to highlight Intel s perfs when it s only shenanigans, Notebookcheck aknowledged that they had to get to the bios and remove power limitations to get those fairy talled scores...2.59 Points
If I'd be a loyalist, I'd not recommended an Intel CPU recently. And I didn't defend anyone. I just attacked your remark. If you think that inofficially leaked slides never get used in official presentations (which would turn them to official slides without content change) I have to quetion your logic.I know you are an AMD loyalist and therefore prefer to defend AMD posters no matter how foolish this is, but at least you should see the difference between official marketing slides from a (paper) launch and some inofficially leaked slides. Maybe I expected too much from you.
No, I actually don't like stubborn soccer fans although my gf is a non-stubborn one herself (and trainer with DFB B licence). The difference is, that stubborn ones try to bend reality, while non-stubborn ones admit, if something is not ok with their loved team. This is exactly what you did, you should do better before you ask for something. In the meantime we are still waiting for some real tests based on notebooks on sale. That part must hurt you.
Back to the observed facts. You didn't question some leaked slides and took the promises for granted, while in case of AMD (where we already had a reality check here supporting the correctnes of AMD's numbers in their slides), you simply question the numbers and revert to waiting for some tests (even not caring for first leaks). Why such two-sided behaviour? And the cherry picking argument doesn't count since this is a known fact already.

AMD has been saying that Carrizo is a laptop chip exclusively -- many of its new features require Windows 10 to function. The company has clearly stated on multiple ocassions that Carrizo launches wide with Windows 10. Only one or two OEM's decided to waste their time of using this chip with Windows 8 (and performance probably sucks until migrating to Windows 10 BTW). Just another pathetic rant about nothing.
Lol... Some OEMs are so retarded that even they put TABLET chips en AIO and Pc. What do you expect this time? That's is probably the dumbest thing I've ever read on the internet. Marketing for most products is always done in advance -- Just a walk around Best Buy today and their were pre-order cards for dozens of video games, movies, even Windows 10. Marketing doesn't mean anything launched.
