There are some models on preorder. Google "FX-8800P Saturn".Looks like there are a lot of 8700P chips floating around right now. Where are the 8800Ps?
According to Digitimes all OEMs are currently busy getting rid of laptops inventories bigger than expected due to the market lack of dynamism.
I'm waiting because they have stock of junk. Life sucks when monkeys are in charge :awe:
I will jump to the first 14" 768p FX8800P iGPU ONLY, 2x 4GB 2133MHz i will find.

Respectable Passmark scores (2)..

An A10-8700P based HP Pavilion got already 6 ratings/4 reviews in Canada with avg. 4.2 pts, objectively ranging from "No good performance" (one 1 star rating) to "the speed is incredible". Those humans..
Depends on the TDP. If it is 15 watt, it is pretty good. If it is 35 watts, or even 20 plus, not so much.
Agree..WTF
10/100Mbps? No GbE on these things? $800?
Some OEMs do have this problem on value oriented builds, no matter the CPU used: Dell did it for a few consecutive models in their Inspiron line.10/100Mbps? No GbE on these things? $800?
OEMs are always "ashamed" of their value/budget lines.also, it feels like the OEMs are kinda ashamed of there carrizo notebooks !!
Well, better 10/100 ethernet, than NO ethernet, like this Dell N2830 laptop I'm currently using.WTF

I really doubt OEM's are going to put 2133 mhz ram in a low/mid range laptop. Be lucky to get dual channel.

IIRC this was one of the models used for the early geekbench leaks. So according to some forum members this should be configured to have a 35W TDP...Acer E-5 552 with a A10-8700P, at 768p or 1080p with usual screens, and no dGPU...

Quite possible since there s no dGPU, using the same cooling device as those versions they can push the TDP to those levels.
