AMD Catalyst 15.7 Driver is now available!

I guess my question is how you did that then if the computer was shutting down at Windows load? I was mostly just curious if you had tried safe mode when it was happening.

The computer was shutting down at Windows load after being left off for a bit. If I turned the computer back on immediately after one of the shut downs, it would successfully load into Windows without shutting down.

Im getting a nasty image freeze in Dota 2 with this driver and Windows 10 x64.

it only happens in fullscreen, anyone have a fix for this ?

The reborn beta works fine, CSGO too, but i can't play dota 2 in borderless, its laggy or something, its forcing my FPS at 60 even tough i don't have vsync on, but it feels like its on.

Check the performance tab in CCC, there is a frame rate limiter there, maybe it's on and set to 60.

I can't play dota 2 at all with 15.7. I doesn't update the game at all whenever I click on anything. If I alt-tab of the game and alt-tab back, it will actually complete the button press.

I am experiencing the same problem with AMD Catalyst driver 15.7.
Previous drivers are working without any issue.
I have contacted AMD for technical support. I am waiting for their response.

Also, what is the latest news on AMD unlocking the voltage for the Fury X? I still am holding out that the Fury X will be a great overlocker.

AMD hasn't locked anything. They've never supported voltage control via CCC on any card.

So are we basically just waiting for some third party to figure out how to adjust the voltage? Hopefully its sooner rather than later..

Anybody having their Anisotropic Filter setting reset to "application managed" from 16X occasionally?

I cant pin down the cause and its been doing this since 15.6, its a fresh install and the setting does not seem to reset on restart, I keep checking periodically and notice after 2-3 days it goes back to default which is really annoying.

No other setting is going back to default.

I'm going to bump this because this is still happening and its super annoying. Is no one experiencing this at all? This time it took about a week to reset.

Still happens for me. If I have the monitor to sleep, it won't wake up. I have to only have a screen saver enabled for it to not require a reset.

That's why you ALWAYS wait for someone else to use them and report back it saves you from being a beta tester.

I'm really impressed with this driver. Setting a 60fps frame limit on my 260x reduces wall power draw by 30 W playing Warships and does not seem to effect performance on my 60hz monitor. Seems just as stable as the omega driver.

Setting the frame rate limiter to 60 seems to have smoothed out the occasional rough spot in The Talos Principle for me. Gameplay was very good before, but now it's perfectly smooth.

guys you can also use twitter to report things to AMD - I've had no issues with these drivers; but doesn't mean others aren't
