Exactly. That would imply one card would be roughly up there. I'd have been more impressed if they showed one card doing 90% of GTX 1080 in DX12. (I know I beat that horse to death, but seriously if they could have shown it for $200 that would have slapped NV in the face).

Yeah, probably $239 or $249. Assuming that based on the comparison graph showing 'under $500' for the CF performance.

somewhat disappointed. But $400 for 1080 performance in dx12. If you want to go multiGPU. DX12 explicit multiGPU is going to be in a few games.

There could still be a SKU above the RX 480. Have to learn if this is the full chip or not.

150W is in 1070 range so not impressed there. Have to see what typical consumption is. This card will do all its shining in dx12.

Why the assumption the 4GB version is the $199? it would be more responsible to state the power consumption and price of the more expensive one.

Basically, the 2x perf/watt improvement translates into ~R390 performance for half its TDP.

But the problem I see here is, the 1070 is already at 150W TDP at 980Ti/TX performance..

The price is really attractive, but this will entirely depend on the pricing/perf of GTX 1060 and below.

Is it just me or did the Nvida version of the game look prettier than the AMD version? If the AMD one was on high while the Nvidia was on ultra then it isn't a fair comparison.

Been around the block long enough to know I would still rather have 90% performance from a single GPU rather than a 100% from 2. I liked Ryan's blog comment around pitching multi GPUs in light of how poor support has been recently from vendors. DX12 scares me a bit on that too, as recent dev work is so shoddy...
