AMD Drops Prices accross board for Athlon XP CPU's!

AMD dropped prices for all of the Athlon XP processors.

Check Pricewatchfor all the new prices available now.

I'm definitly going to get something.

nice drops...newegg has already adjusted their prices. i think i will wait for one more drop though....it cant be that far away. (i hope )

They really haven't dropped much. TCWO had them lower just a few weeks ago. The prices are actually up compared to then.

When are the T-breds coming out? That should drop prices some more.

Wouldn't say this is very hot. All the retail boxes are about the same. I want retail because I usually like to scope out the proc for a while before attempting to o/c. That way I know what sort of performance increase I really have.

man, I was gonna build a duron system for a friend since the 1Ghz is ~$40. But damn, $44 more and you can get an XP1700+

In fact, this stuff is getting cheap enough that I think I'll try unlocking an XP.....Better yet, an XP dually system!!
