buy.com has the AMD Duron 700 Socket A processor for $119.95. use the $10 coupon to bring it down to $109.95. supposedly theres a $15 coupon, but i couldnt find it.

how about this then, instead of using the $10 off coupon add a logitech quickcam express usb camera for $39.42 then use the 30 off 150 and go here for a $30 rebate on the camera

grand total is about $101.25, not bad if you dont need the extra 600 cpu the other deal makes you buy. i got the idea from the 600 and fatwallet thread on the camera

If overclocking the Duron is you bag, set aside an afternoon or two and bring lots of tools. It's not for the weak of heart or hand. Here is a link to an article describing the process.

What do you mean a set of tools? You only need a pencil or conductive pen if you have a motherboard with multiplier control.

or go as I did and get an unlocked processor and use it in your Asus A7V or Abit KT7 and use the multiplier control in the bios or through dipswitches

I think that the Logitech rebate is $10 per camera, and you have to register with some free internet site (Buy.Com has a link to Logitech rebates that seems to indicate $10 per camera). The rebate .pdf says "up to $30 rebate" and states up to 3 per household. $10x3=$30.
