Yes, I am not disagreeing with you. Just like some people cannot tell 30 FPS from 60 FPS there are people that are happy with sound in 2.0. It does not mean that everybody will be happy about games in 30 FPS 2.0 stereo.That's my point, a good part of gamers can't hear the difference or simply don't care, people that are like or work in the music area, are the ones that most of the time will notice the difference, you ears are train for that or already have that natural ability.
Have you actually tried the Oculus Rift? So far, people seem very interested in it. Maybe just the people you know don't care. I am guessing it is not a lot of people.
I have a feeling it takes 15% of A core (not all cores) 15%, who cares? Most folks have CPU performance to spare anyways. I need more GPU power...

The TrueAudio guy made a big deal about this working on stereo or headphones, exactly what you said most gamers have. So it will help them, if not people with better setups.

I wonder if that's really designed for AMD's APUs, which usually are a bit lacking on the CPU side. Especially if we consider the next-gen consoles, which probably don't want anything taxing their CPU to that extent.

Yay,Amd is pulling the nvidia short stop and going for the rebadge method as well but Amd went the extra mile including a fun little $99 card as well,nvidia stopped short at the gtx760 with its rebadging.Nvidia still needs its gtx760ti,its gtx750 and a gt740 just for measure.....
People report that for all VR out there. The point is that Oculus has done a better job of trying to solve those problems. The product is not done, not final, it will improve. I would like to see a 4K display myself.
