Damn, I wish my GPU was that big. :$
I am pretty sure Sapphire and XFX will come out with something. That card 's fan is going to be so loud
I am pretty sure Sapphire and XFX will come out with something.
XFX will probably encase it in a Bazooka and ship it in a large briefcase while Sapphire will slap TOXIC edition on it lol.
LOL, on a more serious note though the PLX chip will make or break this card, if they can get this to perform like a dual 6950/70 it's going to be one heck of a card. The Bazooka edition.. BUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

If I was in AMD right now I would push for better quadfire support since most people who complain usually bring out the abysmal scaling of Quadfire.
Consistency will be key for this card otherwise any other setup will eat this alive.
I once considered a 5970 till i read all the complaints about horrible drivers and the price is just absolute shit

Looks like its 300mm long and its going to blow a lot of air back into the case.
Can't wait to see what sapphire will do with it when they get their hands on it. That 5970 Toxic was out of this world.
The XFX 5970 4GB used a similar setup. It ran 13C cooler than the reference 5970 while running at 5870 clocks and put out no more noise than the standard 5970.
That doesn't mean this cooler is as good, but it shows what is possible with that design.

Says here its 3072SPs, probably clocked at 6950 speeds.
I just want to point out, this thing is almost 12 inches long, and I've never heard of anyone complaining about 12 inches. >_>
As far as it being loud? Well, a nice waterblock will fix that no problem.
Wow, sticking a videocard there must be very painfull for her, hopefully a GTX 560 might be more suitable. :awe:
