Why would you think anyone would pay $5-10k for a no warranty ES of a card that will cost less than 1K most likely?

This is a black market card. The sale of this card isn't tied into the release of Malta. That could still be months away.
Balla just for reference on these collectors (link below) and ES cards this Voodoo 6000 was sold for $10,000 US dollars 3 years ago, guys collect these ES video cards and will pay the money. Go down to about the 27th picture read the text below it.

lol that's a vintage card from the company that has more fans than Nvidia...
I can see why you thought they were comparable, but they're not
They aren't comparable in the least, was really my point.
sold for $96,100 for a buyer with 76 positive feedback.

can you disable one gpu in a single card with dual gpu like these?
But still a pointless purchase until drivers sorted no?...sorry, just confused why people would buy this when official card not release with the drivers?
It is a myth that crossfire is pointless because of the frame delivery issues.
Just ask any of the people using crossfire to push big resolutions or higher image quality with Vsync enabled.
I ran 2x7970CF at 2560x1440 for over a month before throwing up my hands in despair at the stutter...went back to a single 7970 and now just turn the settings down
Naturally you used vsync or a frame limiter?
