What?

Like I said, this board is to PRO AMD, so I wont bother posting here anymore. have fun.

BTW Bob4432, you can shut your little mouth.

wtf are you talking about? are you one of the dumb@$$ friends? i am not pro amd or pro intel, i am pro whatever works well for my task. currently my main machine is a 2.8c @ 3.25 and my "server" is a xp2000, i also have a 1GHz Athlon, 533 Celeron, have a couple of skt 370 733s around here and also some slot 1 p3s that i plan on building another dually with. so yeah, i am really pro amd, j@ck@$$.

You're wrong, intel can't beat up in the most of the actual application . Just a little bit better with video enconding and the diferents between the two procesors are practicaly equal, in terms of video enconding , if you see the lastest benchmarks on tomshardware, and here anandtech, you'll see your liers in your face. AMD has better structure itself, better disipations, better memory controller, and implements dual channel memory controller itseft, Hyper transport, inovation and technology. Can you tell me how to deal with a prescot disipating 115w of power? if you see the range of prices? ddr2 is a failed at the moment.

You better see the score bro!

Well accord to all the reviews I have seen, that it NOT true. Where are you getting your facts ? Link ???? Check YOUR facts. for one anandtech site states that the lowest running 6xx series was the 630 at 202 watts, and the HIGHEST AMD was the FX-55 at 162 watts. The equivalent amd to the 630 was 114 watts.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND STOP POSTING BS !!!!!

More like 115 watts.

Yes, lets bring idle numbers in, when the post was meaning load numbers.
Anandtech shows very similar idle power consumption, but when systems are under load (ie: actually being used), then it's 162 watts for the most power hungry AMD vs 202 watts for the LEAST power hungry 6xx, and 187 watts for the least power hungry of ANY Intel proc.

Doom3 (fps)..........................60.1......................62.1
Half Life 2 (fps).....................39.4......................40.1

Not to mention

It took not even 5 mins to transfer 20GB of files to a HDD. It would talke almost an hour on my AMD <yes ive done it before>

From a reliable source.
Try running your gaming benchmarks at a lower resolution. If you have it set at 1600X1200 (I assume you do considering you have a 6800U) the bottleneck switches from the CPU to the videocard, making differnces in performance less noticeable. If you set the resolution to 800X600, I guarantee you will get a greater margin of difference between the two processors.
