since the last patch, the game looks different and performed different for me.

sometimes i have to unplug my ethernet and restart the game because it will start hitching every so many seconds. It is something to do with the Mod checking stuff they added. At least that is what i think. If you launch the game in offline mode, it goes works the same as launching the game with the ehternet unplugged.
It is something on rockstars end, i think. Because it is not something that happens all the times. Sometimes the game will start up and run fine, other times it will have hitching and stutter until i exit the game and restart in offline mode.

Anyway, i noticed the blurriness like in those pictures as well. It seemed like the game doing this, similar to what i does on the PS3 but not nearly as bad. Is there a setting to improve this? I dont remember seeing it until the last patch, when they added they added the scaling slider in the advanced settings. Does that have anything to do with it?

Anyways, I have shown results for 1080P and others have confirmed that the Fury X has not had any Mantle optimisations (remember it needs doing on a card by card basis) and one of those confirming is AMDMatt (an AMD rep). Also if I run 200% res scaling at 1080P with Mantle, it drops to 5 or less fps and with DX11, it sits at around 45-50, so clearly that site you linked is wrong.

Anisotropic Filtering, Just need to force it to 16x in the control panel. this has been happening for quite a while now. The total war series, Watchdogs, GTAIV, Dragon Age Inquisition all come to mind.

I thought it was the in game implementation, didn't realise it was a bug.
