ehh, it is just the usual. the very same posters in every amd thread in the vcg sectionJudging by the hate towards AMD new cards, I believe we have a winner here. Keep up the good work.

Manufacturing plants for micro processors look hell of a lot cleaner and state of the start. I have walked through a few myself. This looks more like a sorting/packaging facility of some kind....

are we reading the same forum? You can easily say the same amd fans do much of the same things in nv threads in the vcg section. Neither side is better than the other.
are we reading the same forum?
Nope.
The paid nVidia shillers and FUD-ers are in a seemingly endless quest to muck up, disinform and otherwise derail EVERY AMD thread out there. Any time spent on the various PC/tech forums will confirm this very reality.
Many of them will also throw out this "the pro-AMD posters do it, too!!!" when any amount of time spent on the various forums clearly shows that very few (if any) folks troll almost all of the nvidia threads doing the same thing in favor of AMD.
^^ Absolutely correct, swilli89.
It's not limited to forum posters, though, as I'm sure you know. Many MODs as well as forum/website owners/founders also engage in obvious pro-nvidia tactics.
Just look at the recent actions by Brent/Kyle @ [H]ardocp in their epic butthurt, left out of all the tech-reindeer games anti AMD/Polaris post several weeks back. The "Polaris is HOT, under-performing, no answer for 1080, etc" have been almost verbatim talking points of this (pro-nvidia/anti-AMD) crew on the various forums ever since.
They are definitely Nvidia shills. People who don't care about AMD don't spend their days and nights stalking rx480 threads. And using pointless arguments like perf/mm2.Ever since AMD announced Mantle it seems that anyone that does not agree with everything AMD and/or AMD patners says, its auto dubbed a "Nvidia fanboy", and its really getting old now.

I think there was no combined section for a few days. I suppose there wasn't enough discussion if inane arguments weren't allowed. It is very silly in may directions. The mods did quite helpfully put up distinct sections, but people seem rather bent on ignoring those
(It would not be a particular loss if they scrapped the 'combined' section.).

Since they release the 29th probably at the end of this week. I really want to see some benchmarks and reviews. Hoping that a 8gb 480 will be a big enough upgrade for me.OK im tired of guessing and the hype train, when the NDA ends?

Nonsense. I call everything as I see it. In the past, I've strongly criticized AMD for bringing out the 300-series rebrands instead of proper competition for Maxwell, and criticized Fiji for not being competitive enough with GM200 and for lacking modern features such as HDMI 2.0 and HEVC Main10 decoding. And I defended Nvidia's GM206 for being the only realistic option (until FinFET hit the market) for people who wanted a future-proof HTPC dGPU.
The problem is that there are some posters - we all know who they are - who, no matter what the facts, invariably shit on AMD and boost Nvidia and Intel. It gets tiresome to deal with such people since you're not going to change their minds; they continue to speak in absolutes no matter how often they've been wrong in the past. The bottom line is that posts from these posters have zero informational content. If you know person X is always going to say something bad about AMD and something good about Nvidia, and it's usually the same sort of stuff over and over again, they're really just spamming.
There are between 5 and 10 such individuals on Nvidia/Intel's side, and maybe 2 or 3 AMD fanboys who are just as bad. I strongly suspect some of these people may not be mere fanboys, but paid marketing shills. If it were up to me, all these people would be banned. And the resulting quality of conversation on the board would go way up.

I suggested a new forum heading in which the OP could refuse and cancel posts by those they saw as disruptive without having to rely on the mods. A sort of private thread situation where you could be shown the door if trying to cause mayhem. No one seemed to like the idea. Don't even know if it's possible. Maybe it's a foolish idea and unworkable.
Never. We're all stuck in GPU enthusiast purgatory. Not until we've atoned for the past ten years of posts will be free.OK im tired of guessing and the hype train, when the NDA ends?
