People having held up buying GFX cards awaiting AMD's next gen GPU might also explain some of it.
Yup and console sales are decreasing like crazy now... It's an absolute dissaster from AMD

Carrizo laptops are already in the retail channel -- but can't be sold until July 29th because of Windows 10.
Not just that -- the new Radeons are priced incredibly aggressively against their Nvidia counterparts. Q3 could potentially be very good for AMD. I'd be happy if they at least break even next quarter.
Not that high compared to Nintendo Wii and to make it worse, Xbox 1 and WiiU are not selling well. The only way AMD enters on green numbers is to enter to the Mobile area.Oh yeah, the sky is falling:

ARM chips, with an alliance with Mediatek and using CMT. I think that CMT goes FAR better on Mobile than on PCBy selling mobile ARM or x86 chips? If it's the latter, Intel is already losing $4B a year on x86 mobile, so it doesn't seem like a very attractive market segment.
Please post the link to the official launch of Carrizo on AMD's site.

If you must:
Lol
It could be argued that's an announcement and not a product launch

Does anyone else feel like this is part of the plan ?
like some kinda downsizing, slow painfull exit of the markets (all of them).
It's kinda hard to think it's not intentional after this many years.
What I want to know is who are the idiots that keep pouring money into AMD? The company hardly ever turns a profit and surely they must know this.
$650 fury x that is slower than 980 Ti + free game is aggressive? LOL! Yup not gonna take this guy seriously at all.
The shareholders are bleeding for sure, but the banks and bondholders that are already out made a hell of a money with the company.

You did pay 650$ for your card..?..
No, more like 1000$...
So Fury is competitive with both Nvidia higher offerings, besides AMD has proven that it s more future proof than the competition, otherwise you wouldnt have upgraded your dual Titan Z, certainly a very good perf/price ratio as well, isnt it..
What? I don't have a Titan Z or ever did. And the Titan is irrelevant in this discussion because the Fury X gets pummeled by the $650 980 Ti and of course you knew that.
This isn't a video card thread.
Some googling and....
