Important Notes

This product is based on a published Khronos specification but has not yet passed the Khronos Conformance Test Process. A fully conformant implementation of the Vulkan API will be included in a forthcoming Radeon Software release.
This driver is intended as beta level support for use solely with Vulkan applications and as such some Radeon Software functionality has been removed. This is including and not limited to support for other Graphics APIs, Radeon Settings and other Radeon Software driver features.

Known Issues

Windows re-sizing in some applications may cause an application crash
HDMI and DP to DVI adapters on Windows 7 may intermittently cause display issues
Some AMD PowerXpress systems may experience flickering in some applications

I agree about some things can be worth reading at times, not so sure about the "Fud Fighter". I do see him getting under some people's skin a lot.

It's unclear to me whether it hasn't been able to pass conformance or it hasn't been conformance tested or completed the conformance testing yet. The phrasing "has not yet passed the Khronos Conformance Test Process." is vague.

Eh conformance doesn't mean much. Nvidia was touting how it passed, yet in the only Vulkan game (Telos) it was the one that crashed out / BSODed.

Q: Will Vulkan or The Talos Principle break my system?

A: No. I don't think so. Hopefully not. If/when something goes wrong, either the game will crash, or the driver itself. But no BSOD. It shouldn't happen. But don't take my word for it; go ahead - try it for yourselves, try it, go, go...

For real, if it really BSODs couple of times, don't test anymore. No point.

Yup, just pointing out that passing all their tests doesn't mean it works well in the field. Case in point are Nvidia's drivers.
