Interesting how it looks when you remove useless low resolutions and blizzard games (which hardly need gpu grunt to begin with):

As you may or may not know, 150 fps in BF3 is reaching CPU bottleneck. I guess you know it but decided to omit such facts when you are too busy with bias.

Once the drivers that fix the worst of the stuttering arrive looks like a decent card just too late. Titan is the better choice over these top end dual cards - sure you loose a few fps but it just works so much more consistently without xfire/sli in the way. You don't spend $1000 to fight with graphics drivers if you can help it.

Even if you will only buy AMD you'd be better off buying two single cards for significantly less money - particularly as you get two gaming evolved bundles that way so can sell one of them.

Can't see who will actually buy one of these?

AMD should have delayed this product and launched it along with the frame pacing driver in July. Even though they previewed a pre-alpha prototype of frame pacing the fact is the launch reviews for this card are going to be critical of the current scenario. and thats quite fair. And as we have seen from Nvidia's Kepler products the importance of launch reviews is never to be underestimated.

The only positive is optimism about the future. Since this driver should land sometime in July, AMD atleast can compete in the multi GPU market later this year. till that time AMD has to eat humble pie.

Also, if me pointing out the obvious: useless to bench low resolutions with top end gpus, and that cpu limited games also removes scaling to make multigpu solutions look worse somehow makes me extreme, then you are probably too blinded by your green nv faith to see logic.

Edit: For clarity sakes, the summary 2 puts 7990 very close to a gtx690. Given the choice, for gaming reasons, it would be complete silliness to pick the 7990 over a 690. Similar performance for much more power use is a lose scenario. As for the "normal" summary, its completely useless since it includes games where the 690 looks horrible in comparison to single gpus as well, aka, bottlenecked titles. As several have pointed out, 2x 7950 for cheap and manually OCed with a profile for radeon pro (until AMD's "smooth" drivers) = best damn bang for buck this gen and prolly well into next gen.

As someone once said, there's no terrible products, just terrible pricing.

It's way too expensive compared to regular CF.. then again, the 690 is too expensive to 2x680s. This gen dual-gpu cards are just horribly priced. Lets not even get into Titan pricing. Gouging to the max, yet some loyal fans remain happy to bend over and take it.

Hm, the price of the GTX680 is alright. You get nearly the same performance like a GTX680 SLI system but with less power consumption and a better cooling solution for the same price.

I would buy a GTX690 over GTX680 with 2GB. On the other hand 2GB are not really enough for this performance level.
