Do you think that's the big Crimson announcement?
Will make undervolting a 290 a lot easier. I had to flash my gpu bios for it, because when you set afterburner to -50mV it'll also apply that in idle and crash.Wattman for the 3 Series and 2 Series is great.
Borderless fullscreen window Freesync! Multi-monitor/multi-tasking gamers rejoice!
dont you think this is a major driver release?
I don't know if it's a major driver release, that's why I asked. To me it looks like bundled software and not drivers.
Reported to also have performance improvements at the driver level.
Last years release had a 1% improvement in general - http://www.anandtech.com/show/9811/amd-crimson-driver-overview/5
http://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-software-crimson-relive-driver-leak/On the performance side, Radeon cards such as the RX 480 see up to 8% performance increase with ReLive.
Performance is a little better than Shadowplay.
The cards can do better encoding than Live is able to do for now but better support should not be far away.
