What are your temps? Are you using stock clocks or have you tried overclocking?
This setup won't be overclocked, at least not for now.

Temps are on the high side in the current fan configuration - I've been running a computation job on it ever since I got it running (24/7), and it stabilized at 67C with a continuous 60-70W Package Power reading while running at stock 3700Mhz.

However, there's no fan on the heatsink, just two 120mm case fans running at ~800rpm in the vicinity. Next week I will probably mount the third fan and adjust their speed a bit higher.

That's pretty good for having a semi-passive cooling solution. I'm sure if you actually had a fan on there, your temps would be a bit lower for sure.

They would be, the heatsink was quite warm to the touch.

Those temps though are pretty in line for stock, with subpar cooling. Look forward to more air results. I actually have a Scythe still as well. Since the fan that came with mine died, I had replaced it with Yate Loon D12SL's.

Does current MB support Zen+ ?
Amd say they are committed to am4.

I am perfectly sure the current boards will work with zen plus. Heck bios was first reasonable mature this july.
The issue is if zen 2 on 7nm is going to work in those boards and my guess is they probably are as amd is a small player and cant change as often as intel even if they wanted to. Look how long time it took for itx boards to arive.

Till 2020 or so. Until DDR5 and or pcie 4 or pcie 5, whichever makes it out.

I've set my mind on the Asrock AB350 Pro4 but the memory compatibility list is very slim on modules above 3000MHz and I can't find any of them in stock where I live. I'm guessing that list was compiled even before Ryzen was launched and bioses were very immature.
I'm looking to buy the Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB kit CMK32GX4M2B3200C16. Anyone using this kit or something close to it that can share their experience? Should I expect problems with it?
The CPU is going to be a 1700X that will run at stock speeds, but with the memory at 3200 hopefully. I won't mess with the timings, I'll use the profile stored on them. I need it to be stable as it's going to be used at work.

As has been said many times, don't worry so much about the mobo QVL list. Worry about the ICs on the DIMMs.

Your linked kit is ver 4.31 which means Samsung B-die on Corsair DIMMs, which is a good thing. Get that kit. It is dual-rank so you may need some extra work to get it tuned the way you want it, but you can get there from here.

Seconded.... I have two kits of that memory. They run at rated speed easily set the xmp profile.

I love them. I don't know why, but I'm digging the whole RGB thing now. I didn't at first, but if you are on a budget, these are a fantastic go-to for gaming, etc. Guaranteed Samsung B-die and definitely run at rated speeds. So, you have these as an option, or the RGB ones. But these are definitely what you want for a build.

Asus TUF B350M is coming out in october. That means that x370 tuf should be near? Some predictions, will x370 tuf be expensive more than x370 strix?

Agree though i I just bought lpx 3000 that runs 2933 xmp c15 with 1600x for a gamers rig for one of the kids.
Its difficult to hit the perfect cost benefit ratio for the total system. Will you be latency ram limited in the future or raw cpu througput limited?

Probably the latter. His 1600x already takes a serious beating gaming in overwatch and bf1 mp at 144+ fps that would make a 7700 dip it. But faster latency would help right now where the 1600x is weak eg pubg. And perhaps raw memory bandwith will become an issue 3 years down the line? Dual ddr3 1600 is already a demand for 99.9% consistent 60fps in bf1 mp.
With these prices i vote for samsung b die at 3200

allright.I bought Gskill Ripjaws V 16GB 8GBx2 3200Mhz CL16 DDR4 ==> F4-3200C16D-16GVKB
How is it ? I haven't installed on Mobo (Asus Prime X370 Pro)

Edit : Also my Ryzen 1600x => 1721PGT , so Week 21, segment fault probably ?

If its 3200 but CL16, its not samsung b-die, I would have gone for the CL14, tight timings matter to Ryzen

I have this kit on MSI B350 Mortar + 1600X, they won't go 3200 using A-XMP. I have them @2933Mhz currently. If further BIOS updates don't improve compatibility I may take the time to attempt a fully manual setting, but I don't plan to play games anytime soon on this machine so no rush there.

ok , Right now they're running at 2933@16,16,16,38,56 with 1.35 Voltage.CPu's Voltage was high so I reduced CPU's Voltage from 1.425 to 1.33
C15 ST : 152
C15 MT : 1235
Memory read : 44GB/s ( from 32GB/s@2133mhz)
Latency : 79.3 ( from 98.8ns )

by using "system stability test" in aida64 extreme for 30 minute , Hwinfo reports :
CPU(Tctl) : 87.5
CPU(Tdie) : 67.5
CPU : 65

Edit : I run Thaiphoon (from http://www.softnology.biz) and momery chip is Hynix.
