Is anyone taking note of where the processor's come from along with model numbers to correlate OC, temps, and quality control?

Waiting for my liquid cooler to arrive still. Unfortunately Arctic confirmed it doesn't include the AM4 bracket, which will be available mid March. I also emailed Raijintek about the Triton 360, and that will have the AM4 bracket in 7 to 10 days.

In the meantime, I found out the Be Quiet! Pure Rock I have mounted on my i7-6700K is compatible already, so I put a Deepcool TF120 on it and put it on the 1700X with some Noctua NT-H1. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have made much a difference, as I'm still getting mid 70s at load (3.6GHz, all cores) with AIDA64 stability test.

Oh well, I guess I'll wait for liquid cooler to further OC. I think I'd need a more massive heatsink if I wanted to do air at ~4GHz and maintain cool temps.

May not be a bad idea. Folks, should we create YART (Yet Another Ryzen Thread) to start tracking this, or maybe someone can create a google doc?

Well, no link without re-reading the entire benchmark thread, and all the reviews that are in it. Its just what I remember.

Edit: it appears that magic hate ball read the same thing, he is running that. You might ask if he remembers, where,

Drat! Looking for that type of ram without cutting my arm off and selling it. Also, I've apparently been out of touch with storage. What's so special about these directly connected ssd cards vs the traditional sata ports?

Just an exampled but do your homework before any purchase and properly research the product http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1788?vs=1822
If you need the extra perf, that depends on your workload. With the right drive $/perf is solid IF you need the perf.

On this page and the next you can see some real world single action differences between SATA and NVMe PCIe x4 drives http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...mp500-force-240gb-480gb-m-2-ssd-review-8.html

Yep I got my r7 1800x from Fed Ex at the very last minute at the end of the day today which was a little after 5:00pm. Was starting to think I wasn't going to get it today or maybe I missed the Fed Ex guy while going to the bathroom or something. Now all I gotta do is hunt down a darn motherboard if they ever come back in stock.. Will not be going Asus hero VI like I had planned due to auto bios update bricking every ones motherboards. No thank you!! Hoping now for a Gigabyte Gaming 5.

Well I don't think I'll be overclocking on the stock cooler on my 1700. Even at 3.6Ghz/1.3v the ASUS monitoring program is telling me it's hitting 85c in Handbrake. Motherboard ambient is 36c and CPU sits at 38c idle.

I don't want to make anybody upset, but my I want to give my feedback. The only memory I have had be bad in the last several years was from Avexir, and I could not even get to an RMA, tried to contact, could not, and they were both DOA.
