Congrats Kingbee13. Looks like a "Killer" system. HAR! HAR!
It bricked itself when overclocking. In my case, I used the AI Suite 5-way optimization (which is what I typically use as a baseline on Asus boards). Jay at JaysTwoCents appeared to be manually OCing from the video he put up.
ASUS BIOS 0505 apparently solves a lot of RAM performance stability but isn't publically available yet.
Have to ask: what workloads are you running where an all-core clock of 3.4 performs better than 2-core at 3.7 and all-core at 3.2? I would think the latter performed better in games, but what do I know?R7 1700 @ max oc on stock volts (not found yet) currently at 3.4 all core, Wraith cooler , Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3, 16GB CL15 3000, R9 290.
Running in parallel with the 4790K system, not sure if I will migrate to an X370 board in a few months.
That looks pretty sweet. Is that a Define C? The dual-wielding m.2 SSD stuff is kind of making my brain shout "throwing money out the window", but I guess if you can afford it it's pretty awesome
Here we go! I haven't heard anything about this board yet I guess I'll find out.
Does anyone have an Asrock Taichi X370 in hand besides me at the moment?
I can't seem to find anywhere in the BIOS to disable SMT for some testing I want to do...
I eventually will when the Asus ROG C6H becomes available again. I have a Thermaltake V51 case equipped with 2-360mm slim Magicool rads (top and front), an EK Supremacy EVO block with the AM4 adapter and an EK D5 140 pump/res combo ready BUT I had trouble getting it to boot with the Asus Prime B350 Plus mb. I'm not sure what the problem was but Thank God I still had my Corsair H110i GT AIO cooler and Fractal Define S case. They worked well with the mb and my Ryzen R7-1800x (specs in sig). It is working well.Is anyone else doing custom water??
newegg is shipping my 1800x today, and its IN STOCK at the moment.
now if I could only find a dang motherboard somewhere (the one I want, the ASRock Taichi)

Was it due to auto-update of BIOS though?
Yeah, slowly but surely. Waiting for parts to come in, though. Takes time. Full custom loop including my Fury X.Is anyone else doing custom water??
Dear -ME!-
Thank you for being one of the thousands of people to have ordered a complimentary CORSAIR AM4 bracket. We’re excited to bring our Hydro Series liquid cooler to the new family of AMD Ryzen™ Processors and the new AM4 socket.
However, due to significantly higher than expected demand for our AM4 bracket, we regret that there will be a delay in shipping your order. We are working hard to fulfill every request as fast as possible, and will update you again shortly to provide an estimated delivery date.
As a reminder, the free AM4 bracket is only needed if you are using a CORSAIR Hydro Series H50, H55, H75, H80i v2 (H80i GT), H90, H100i v2 (H100i GTX), H105, H110i GTX or H115 CPU cooler.
If you are using a CORSAIR H60, H110i or H100i, these coolers ship with a fully compatible AM4 mounting bracket included in the box.
Thank you for your patience

And the goodies keep trickling in:
I have to say, those heatspreaders look nice. And the red details have a surprising high-quality look to them. Not that it matters even slightly (I don't have a windowed case, won't get a windowed case, and DDR4 doesn't need heatspreaders regardless of voltage), but I do like me some good product design. Vanity > sanity, in this case.
The last order of the build is placed: CPU block (EK-Supremacy MX Acetal), thermal paste (Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, my Gelid GC-extreme is running low), and my second radiator (EK-CoolStream PE 240). Now just crossing fingers, toes, and all other applicable appendages hoping the motherboard gets here soon. Arrival at the retailer is still "unconfirmed" for the 10th ...
Why didn;t you get the backet from Corsair for free ?I got this email today...
Why do I get the same feeling I got with Amazon? I ordered my AM4 Bracket minutes after the corsair.com/ryzen website went live, I ordered my Motherboard from Amazon 13 minutes after pre-orders went live...
Why do I get the feeling I wont get either one until April? Whatever happened to first come first serve?
Why didn;t you get the backet from Corsair for free ?
The commando memory is $90.Is anyone able to find 16GB DDR4 for less than $80?
I am not happy that I spent $80 on memory.
