Guess what I found! Biostar GT7 BIOS 407 with AGESA 1.0.0.4a. It also supports the R5 processors. The huge news is that it supports Ryzen's native BCLK and that means BCLK is possible without an external generator. This is the first motherboard I've seen implement this. I thought it was coming in May. Nice job Biostar!

I would consider this beta until it gets posted officially.

Never thought about the matter before at all, sounds stupid but it is what it is.

Now i assume it's mostly about more open pages with dual rank or 2 DIMMs per channel- better chance for a hit. Guess interleaved accesses can boost perf too, assuming that's being done.
There should be some extra complication for the memory controller with dual rank (or 2 DIMMs per chan) but manageable.

Mentioned AIDA because folks look at BW and latency and often that's it. Here's an example, a review that tests with AIDA and nothing more http://www.legitreviews.com/amd-ryzen-single-rank-versus-dual-rank-ddr4-memory-performance_192960
And in this case, the benchmark fails to expose the real world differences so it becomes useless for this particular purpose.
The perf gaps must be investigated and quantified. HardwareFR gets pretty large differences , more than enough to impact purchasing decisions.
PCGamesHardware has lots of results with single rank vs. dual rank memory:

I think the interesting part is dual rank is aprox 6% better for gaming (min fps) vs single rank at 2667. Double the effect of going from 2667 to 3200 (3.1% better min). If i understand it correctly. Why is that so?

Probably the same reason why SSDs with more chips in them perform better than the same models with fewer chips.

More parallelized access. Instead of asking 1 chip for X number of bytes, you're asking two chips for X number of bytes likely split between them?

Can we see that in aida64 in bandwith?

Ryzen Master itself still uses 6 - 7% CPU on its own, which pretty bad IMO.

Seems to report correct temperature on X chips now. I'm seeing about 62C now running Prime95 Small FFT.

Ahh so don't keep it running? I don't. I've got other programs to do far more detailed monitoring and they report the correct temperature.

I tried the F4 BIOS for B350M Gaming 3 and my RAM works at the rate speed now [Hynix 3200cl16].

Previously if I even touched the RAM settings I'd get an infinite boot loop that could only be fixed by removing the M.2.

Edit: had some freakish latencies and bsod's, fixed by going to 2933.

Exactly, i ran ryzen master for a few hours then decided it was POS crap software and uninstalled. I can run 10 other monitoring programs at the same time and take up half as much or less CPU time. Whoever wrote this program should be ashamed of themselves.

ASUS Released the BIOS 0606 for Prime B350 Plus. Thats 3 BIOSes in less than a week. Wow.!

Right now I am running 14-14-14-34@3200 MT/s stable with this BIOS.

Probably AIDA is still reporting something wrong. but the Latencies are drastically improved.

PRIME B350-PLUS BIOS 0606
Update AGESA to 1.0.0.4a

PRIME B350-PLUS BIOS 0605
Beta BIOS for AGESA 1004A

PRIME B350-PLUS BIOS 0515
1.Improve system stability.
2.Enhance memory compatibility
3.Improve CPU temperature monitor function

It's useful for quick and dirty, noob level overclocking, especially with all of the early BIOS wonkiness. It just works for that use case. You can OC and then close it. Outside of that....you are most definitely spot on.

Yeah now that most other monitoring software supports Ryzen, RM a bit redundant unless you absolutely must OC from Windows.
