Over at sweclockers forum people think zen+ is 7nm, i told them that zen+ is still 14nm but they say that 7nm is in 2018. I told them 2020. I get downvoted but i am pretty sure i am the correct one here.

There's chance that we will see 7nm Zen in 2019, however 2018 is simply impossible.

Ryzen is 4 years, as AMD puts it Tock Tock Tock, so uArch improvement three in a row, then a shrink to 7nm which would be a Tick.

AMD's tock only talks of architectural improvements and does not rule out a process node shrink. AMD has done node changes with architectural improvements in the past . Eg : Trinity/Richland (32nm SOI) to Kaveri (28nm bulk SHP)

AMD has confirmed they are designing in 7nm now and GF 7nm is scheduled for a ramp in 2018. I expect 7nm GPUs first in late 2018 and then 7nm Zen++ / Zen 3 in H1 2019.

It does say it has XFR, and it seems to say that 4.0 is the Precision Boost limit.

Both listings were identical except for the clocks and the prices. Both had XFR.

No surprise. It is the same cpu with 200 mhz difference. 1700x seems best bang for buck.

The box is Ginormous, unless that is all cooler, so possibly.

Ryzen single core at around 4ghz boost gets 162 cinebench single thread. i7 7700k@4.4ghz gets 165...If that's not a misread or a mistake, then AMD is actually back for real. The only thing Intel might have is a small advantage with clock speeds and OCability, possibly not amounting to much especially when faced with TWICE the cores and threads. Jesus. If the hype gets any heavier its going to collapse into a black hole.
