Sweepr, what's with the thread title?
I'm speechless.
Well, it's obvious the thread was created to control the narrative. Shouldn't be surprising, and it's not the first time.

No, it should be 40% "+" over excavator.

Aten-ras benchmark so no bias towards intel.
Excavator at 25% higher clocks @4.35Ghz and haswell @3.5Ghz is still ~34% faster.
At least for CB15 zen should be a good bit slower then haswell.
Well sorry but there was no CPU-Z in the presentations they didn't even show task manager for the render bench while they did for handbrake.Proofs, my friend, proofs. Then we can talk. Right now, without CPU-Z shots its FUD. Nothing more, nothing less.
This logic is just LOL.Well sorry but there was no CPU-Z in the presentations they didn't even show task manager for the render bench while they did for handbrake.
Either take everything as a rumor or take everything as fact there is no picking and choosing.
Yes and as a proof of that the word "First" at the start of the thread title is now gone.Well, it's obvious the thread was created to control the narrative. Shouldn't be surprising, and it's not the first time.
No you won't.
You are already proclaiming a winner before independent reviews, and blaming other users when leaked results don't match your expectations. Try to be honest before calling out other people.
Isn't he the one that posted that total troll Zen ~ i7 980 thread? You are spot on. If anything shows AMD products in a poor light you can bet he will be the first to post it. It does not matter if its CPU or GPU or any other product. The next few weeks and months will see a lot more of such rubbish. I am just going to wait for the actual product reviews.
No. Cinebench is a good Benchmark for a general view which reflected an average, also it scales nicely over many cores, which favours CPUs with many cores, even AMD used this in the past. Cinebench gave a good overview in the past. Poor CPUs like Bulldozer did poorly because it was a poor CPU.

To be fair, in that context they are using Cinebench to compare AMD vs AMDIndeed. Here's a recent example:
Unbelievable how a leak that puts Ryzen 20% above stock 7700K in CB R15 (even if it only matches the 4C/8T competitor in Fritz Chess) already causes such mass hysteria from the usual suspects.
Deleted...And from what I remembered after seeing it for 10s it only showed a score without a CPU infoHey guys, I just got a new leak in from my source in China.
Check out this Zen benchmark!!!
Totally legit... It's not like it took me two seconds to fake that in paint! Actually, it would be more accurate to say faking the fake.
Honestly 4/8t results won't be that good. i believe those results are from probably 2.8-3.0ghz zen 8/16t.
The Fritz Chess picture clearly indicates 16 threads.
Could be any INTC 8c CPU locked to lower frequenciesBut this doesn't say It's Ryzen.
It could be a 6 core or a toaster. People fake this stuff all the time.Could be any INTC 8c CPU locked to lower frequencies
Is there some correlation between CB15 and Blender scores? This would put at least some credibility behind this score. Otherwise we might discuss until retail availability.
