Hahaha!!!!
Mark,
Thank you for your feedback. AMD has noticed the same thing and will be requiring a Tax ID number in order to purchase the bundles at future Tech Tours.

Why do you think it is funny? Some people could not afford things like this and now you email them? What an a$$hat. :|
Yes I do.
The conferences are not for end users, they are for RESELLERS.
I don't care because they are not near me, but I am sure others will.
Huh? My decision? No - The Intel Channel Conference and AMD Tech tours are for reseller education, not so a bunch of cheap, pimply-faced geeks can get parts well below cost.
Looks to me like AMD made the decision to weed out end users... BECAUSE THE SHOWS ARE FOR RESELLERS.
Um so are you a reseller? or just some apparently not-pimply-faced not-geek that happens to be a part of the insanely knowledgeable computer/handheld/phone/furniture/camera section at our local best buy?
If not then what makes you a reseller? If having a tax ID makes you a reseller then im set, our farm has had one for years to buy feed with.
And if the shows are only for resellers, then why offer the bundles at all? You would already be buying the latest gear, and testing it, and getting it below cost, so why bother even offering them?
And hey look, i got an email from them too, i assert its authenticity as much as you do yours. The name deleted thing makes it very super secretive sounding, i think ill do that from now on!
