Well, I agree with him. Last time I went to Tech Tour it was mosly pimple farmers, not dealers like me.

No offense, but you must be a pretty lousy or unsuccessful system builder if you're attending a tech tour event to get 15 month old news or turn a quick $50 on one of the bundles.

Hey, $50 is $50. I'll buy 10, given the chance.

And if you're going to make a comment about my success in business - in terms of dollar volume, I'll go toe to toe with ANYONE on this board and I'll be on top. Ask anyone in OT that's seen me deal.

I don't see what the problem is.
The people buying the bundle are building the system themselves. If they don't get it at the tech tour they will probably purchase it at da egg, or another online reseller. Do you make money on that type of customer?

You are preaching to the wrong crowd.

I have a tax ID number, and will be at the seattle show. I don't need the bundle, but I will probably still pick one up...

BTW try to keep it clean guys.

edit: I doubt AMD based their decision to sell the bundle only to resellers off of his email.

I see....and the more people who attend the more of these there will be on ebay and your $50 could shrivel to $44. So you're being a jerk over $6 in lost profits?

All I know about you is that you buy stuff and resell it. If so, how is a system builder event any more pertinent to you than to anybody else....I'm not sure Ebay Power Seller qualifies.

Not all but many small business folks use their SSN as the federal Tax Id for sole proprietor businesses.

No - they can use their SSNB as an EIN )Emplyer ID Number_, but tax certs are completely different

I don't believe AMD is actually losing much or any money at all on this. It is probably still above cost and promotes AMD talk/knowledge to others (like here)

I do not really think the childish banter back and forth is really necessary or appropriate either. Let's keep the talk focused about information of the event so we don't have to look through a couple pages of garbage. We got your point to please move on.
