AMD said release your 4K TR and Bioshock numbers early. The sites would not have had the chance until the NDA lifted. AMD didn't limit anyone to anything. The sites that didn't test those games at those resolutions are probably the ones that didn't post their numbers and I doubt they got punished.

So we didn't lose anything. We get more info.

When they aren't aggressive, all the arm chair CEO's complain on forums about how they should market their products. When they are aggressive with marketing, well, a lot of butthurt appears to occur.

Well we don't know that yet. They may have been the only games released cause they are gaming evolved titles. And 4K is just part of the 4K push.

We know it does far better in Metro LL and BF4. If sites like AT feel it was OK to release these numbers, then I'm fine with it.

That thing is rated at barely 95w TDP dissipation, and only for the desktop chips.

The 3930k dissipates at least 130w TDP.

That thing's gonna throttle like crazy.

I think I see why we have different numbers from Anandtech and AMD's stunt now...........
