Will the AMD A8-5600k paired with ATI Radeon HD 6670 I GB DDR5 be good for gaming?

I will be playing games like BF3,AC3,Sleeping dogs,Far cry 3,Hitman Absolution,Max payne 3 etc.

Your opinion will be appreciated. Thank you.!

P.S: I own a 14 inch monitor bought long ago.I will be using the same for gaming.

14inch ??? 1024x768 ??

If that's the resolution then yes it will be fine. I would get the 6800K + 8GB 2133MHz memory without the HD6670.

Agreed on this one, especially on a 14" monitor. The 6670 can theoretically be used in Dual Graphics with the APU, but it's buggy as hell and asking for trouble. Just go for the better APU and some fast RAM.

ok i will go for more RAM. But, will the integrated GPU handle all these games without lags? Will it be future proof without a dedicated GPU?

My only concern is with BF3 MP, ill test it tonight at 1024x768 and let you know. You can always install a dGPU later on if you feel you need the extra performance for future games.

Or should i go with FX 4300 paired with a decent GPU??? Which will give better gaming performance? The A10-5600k or FX 4300? I think The FX will be a bit future proof too..
Need opinion!

According to this, the 4300 should be a little better: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/676?vs=700

Plus in a few years' time you can upgrade it to an 8 core CPU.

Just make sure you factor in how much this would cost, in combination with a decent GPU.

What do you mean by "decent gpu"?. A hd 7750 or higher paired with almost any CPU will give much better gaming performance than an apu with no discrete card. At these levels of performance you will be gpu limited in all cases.

Pop cans wrapped with duct tape and covered in glitter will provide enough power to game at 1024x768. Yes, you should get an APU and not a dedicated graphics card.

The A10-5800K is basically the same chip... and can be found $20 cheaper right now.

I have an APU build and tried a 6670 in Crossfire just for fun with the 7660D - Trust me - Do not go this route - It's buggy as hell and causes we more problems than benefits. I wasn't long ebaying that 6670

The Trinity chip will give you pretty much the same CPU performance as the FX4300 for the same price, but you will get a free graphics card in the Trinity. And at that resolution you'll do great with the built in graphics for now and since you can add a graphics card to either chip, the one with the free graphics today is the one to get. Go with either A10 chip, but keep in mind that the Richland chip isn't that much better than the Trinity chip so if the price difference is more than 5-10% then the Trinity chip is a better buy.

That makes 0 sense... Getting an APU for gaming and a crappy card to crossfire.

Get a real CPU like an i3 or even an Athlon FM2 with a 7770.

Just get an A10 Trinity CPU. It'll be more than enough for that low resolution and save you money.

What if i upgrade my monitor in near future? To keep my system a bit future proof which processor should i go with? A10 or FX with a GPU?

If you can afford it, then an FX cpu with a dedicated GPU, like a Radeon 7750, 7770, or 7790.

OK it will be fine at BF3 MP. I have run at 720p Low Settings and it was always above 30fps. Just remember that BF3 MP needs a lot of cores, a 6-Core FX6300 will be much better with the same GPU. If BF3 MP is your first priority then go with the FX6300 and HD6670 GDDR5 or above.

1600MHz ram = Min : 32fps, Avg : 47fps
2133MHz ram = Min : 30fps, Avg : 48fps

Cap fps limit at 60.

How about giving us a budget to work with, you're basically moving us around with very few pointers !

I am thinking of getting a FX 4300 with HD 7750. (MP is not a concern for me)
