AMD X2 4800+ or AMD FX-57??

Yes SonofNoob i have read it and i have decided to go with the FX60!! heres my rig setup as of right now, wont be able to further upgrade this unless i switch to M2, so this system will last me 'a while'

Processor: AMD 64 FX2 60
Motherboard: ASUS A8MVR32/ DFI Crossfire<--have that one but kept receipt to take bak
Harddrive: 300GB Harddrive undecided
Graphic Card: ATI X1800XTPE x2 (when they come out)
Power Supply: Antec 500+ havent looked into it
Case: Antec p180

looks good, but I would suggest a PC Power and Cooling PSU instead because with all of the power you are going to be drawing in that system you might as well have the most stable. Also what RAM?

it really does not matter, I have always gone with OCZ, but whatever brand or deal that you think is best. Both are reputable

i see nothing with getting an opteron 165 or 170 and OCing, seeing how you're practicing on your current rig anyway. that way you can get 3 cpus (1 right now, 1 in a year or 2, and a third in an additional year or two) so that the last cpu you but at $350 will be better than the cpu you buy today for $1400

x2 dual core it....may not own the 57 at games, but it's better if you want to use it for future stuff that comes out, unless you're a hardcore buy the newest things that come out pereson
