Did you have to pay tax? If not then it's not so bad. Even for many people getting it local will still cost about $10 extra for tax and gas to get there.

overclockers.com and its forums are a good source of info on steppings and most anything else. search using google or whatever.
that steppings not the super overclocking one, i forget how far that one goes, maybe 2ghz?
