The fun part is that either way if there are or are not, if AMD and AMD PR play their cards right, they can come out big as a secure x86 platform for a lower cost than Intel offers.

This is very interesting (from another poster with the hardware.fr link):
https://googleprojectzero.blogspot.nl/2017/07/trust-issues-exploiting-trustzone-tees.html

I think they probably will exist. Otherwise CTS labs and viceroy would be seriously screwed. I need proof damn it proof!

EDIT: Currently CTS Labs are operating in a grey area. I am not a lawyer but I imagine that disclosing fake vulnerabilities to manipulate stock prices. Would get them into real trouble. They are a bunch of clown shoes though so who knows?

The whole security industry has a lot of grey areas. Selling intrusion tools to the DEA that contain zero days for example. The DEA is a law enforcement agency should they be purchasing tools that contain zero days?

It isn't very ethical. However it gets the job done. Well. I am going to drink some coffee.

CTS-Labs is "Catenoid Security" which was formally Flexagrid Systems Inc

A company that produced the Computer Hijacking "CrowdCores"

This hijacker was used to run BitCoin mining software on the hijacked computers to make money at the expense of unsuspecting PC owners.

If true, these guys really are a bunch of clowns. Why would you advertise it?

And that one solved. The picture is of the street level of a multi-story office building called the EL AL building.

I work out of a branded office building in aus. Where the majority of businesses have nothing to do with the company the building is named after. So it's obviously not uncommon. Oh and the building I work in is actually modern but then I work for a legitimate company.

EDIT: Is it because they are proud of crowdcores? I don't get these clown shoes at all. In fact I picture them all riding around their office on unicycles while juggling.

They are a joke of a security company.

Could you please post the URLs to an archived version of those webpages? For the life of my I cant find them! Theyre not on archive.org

I assume they have pulled their website? It's almost like they didn't understand what was going to happen.

I just cannot understand what CTS labs was thinking. Also I don't think I really care.

EDIT: Everyone is going to be looking to hack them now. So it's probably a good idea. To disconnect their network from the internet.

Clowns most likely....I doubt they're talented enough to juggle while riding a unicycle.

I have to say this has been one of the strangest security related things I have ever seen. I hope the guys at CTS Labs enjoy being the target of skilled hackers for years to come. Oy Vey!

No one is safe.

Amusingly, we're still safe here although I don't know how or why.. I don't understand why he doesn't desire to bring justice to this board. Are we not worthy of his enlightened knowledge?

I don't know how much more can [H] take his wisdom. I do remember most of the resident trolls here moving over there and teaming up with him... I wonder how much more the peace will last.

I have tried on multiple occasions to bring his incredible knowledge and insights to these forums, but he blocked me on Twitter for simply asking.

Should he ever set foot here, Purch will tremble from the passage. Blood will run in the streets! Mods will cower.

In service to he-who-shall-not-be-named, they are more than mere trolls. They become preachers of the Holy Word of Strength, smackers-down of those-who-would-be-smacked. Servants of the one true Internet Strongman.

Or maybe they're just trolls like before, cozying up to someone with more conviction than they. That's the less entertaining possibility.

Oh dear, did it hurt?

Maybe we're just not good enough for him.

If I remember correctly, he was on this forum some time ago (after the semiaccurate ban) but did not last long because of the awesome moderation work we have here !

Poor moderation is why I abandoned the HardOCP forums and came here, for a better user experience. HardOCP is troll central and has a very alt-right tilt that the owner tends to encourage.

Even Arstechnica has gone too much into Clickbait titles on articles, which tends to encourage flame wars that are poorly moderated.

Anandtech has resisted clickbait and has the best moderation I have seen. It is the most pleasant place to discuss tech issues.

I thought he had deemed us educated to his FULL TRUTHS and FACTS.

We were but mere lambs to the STRONGMAN's intellectual slaughter. Popeye in a field of spinach would have nothing on this man.

Yet we still have to put up with these internet celebrities' worshippers spamming their devotions here. Is there nothing more on-topic to discuss?

I think the CTS/viceroy stock manipulation scam is mostly clear by now, or has anything new happened on that front? No unrelated third party has shown up to confirm the supposed """"flaws""""?
