So you were completely surprised by the fact that once the murmurs regarding the PSP would finally be subject to independent audits, these issues wouldn't have been discovered?

PSP faults would include not only Ryzen but Carrizo and ARM chips as well. BUT we have been running 20 years on insecure OoO cpus so everything is possible.

well considering their previous attempts were on a drug company on south africa and a seed company on israel they thought "what can go wrong by attacking a tech giant"

did they seriously think that people wont investigate and go deep down on their throats?i mean how can you paint that something as an exploit if you need physical access admin rights and a freaking modifier driver by amd themselfs?
Yeaa. It reminds me of some people who cried out loud when they stumble over a cpu error.
These guys obviously knows how to tricker the same emotional response.
Every audit gives information about flaws. Its never like everything is working 100% as intended. Its the purpose. If you didnt find flaws you wouldnt do audits or have security firms.
Its just hyped beyond proportions.

One can say its disturbing if those noobs could find these flaws even if the practical implications is next to nonexisting if not nill.

In grander sceme vs meltdown and spectra issues and consequences its also disturbing this gets so much pr.

Robber 1: So... here is the plan. 1st we break into the house...
Robber 2: Then we steal all their stuff right?
Robber 1: No! 1st we break into their house, replace the front door with a lock that we have the key to...
Robber 2: Well, why would we break into the house to replace the front door? Why not take the stuff once we are in?
Robber 1: Shut up and listen!. 1st, we use this key I got for the front door, then we replace the door so we can break in later and take all their stuff.
Robber 2: Wait, you already have a key to the door? So why would we replace the door if we already have a key to the one that is there?
Robber 1:...

20 minute video? Urgh. Is there not a text version?

Why? We all know it was a hit job. The question is by whom, or what entity. I would think it’s some company trying to get purchased by crowdstrike or some other stupid buyout, or it’s them working with a competitor in the space.

The most damning thing is the obvious collusion between Viceroy and CTS labs.

Basically this looks like both companies are in fact a handful of millennial dudebros, that think they have found a way to scam the system, while staying out of jail.

Short Stock
FUD campaign
Profit

This is the "business model".

Seeing scum like this win, really pisses me off.

I don't know who has jurisdiction for international manipulation of US markets, (SEC, FBI, CIA?), but these dudes need to have the hammer brought down on them in a very public way.

I think the issue is that when they break it to steal stuff the first time they can leave something behind that persists so when the stuff gets replaced they can break in again a second time much easier.

Of course once you have broken in once you are spoilt for choice as to where you may hide something that won't be discovered easily or you could just infect everything that you can.

lol ahh so this is the IDF at work. Not all that surprising, and it all makes perfect sense now. The IDF is behind a ton of viral marketing, fake news, FUD and trolling. Likely having tantrums because of Abu Dabi's financial stake in AMD, which also explains the manipulation and continuous pressure on AMD's stock, given that the big financial institutions would be doing their work on behalf of the US government, as well as big lobby groups like AIPAC.
CTS co-founder Yaron Luk-Zilberman "previously served... in the Israeli Intelligence Corp Unit 8200".

What a joke...

CTS-Labs fake offices and server farm:

Real Office Centre (in the middle sandwiched between the Mizrahi Tefahot (םורת טפתות) bank branch and the Super Yuda...)

Catenoid Security (CTS-Labs)
Ben Yehuda St 32,
Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

They even changed their company logo a few weeks ago to make a look more like a security company.

Apparently Yaron Luk Zilberman had a Form D filing just last week for his (one-man?)
Hedge Fund just last week:

So is Intel the ones who are behind that, I guess... Who is next? Qualcomm? Nvidia? VIA?

Too much exploits in few time only can be done by Intel

There's no evidence of Intel being connected to any of this, is there?

Of course they have. What else should they say?

I've seen nothing to suggest Intel had anything to do with it. Israeli tech operations aren't enough to point the finger at them. The entire purpose of this report was to manipulate the stock for shorts to come out on top.

AMD taking a big hit today, but so is the market in general. Hard to say if this report had some effect on stock today. Probably not as AMD's beta is pretty high so it's expected to take bigger losses in a down market but maybe the report is helping the price lower.
