Thanks for the tip! To me this is a film worth seeing again... and not just because of the cutie star The plot is a bit convoluted, well the details anyhow, and the DVD set has quite a few extras on it...
The Blockbuster I just stopped at had Ghost World for $6.99..another good film, just didn't know how many times I would really watch it.

Amelie is a great movie.
Very fun and romantic movie.
I got the last one at my local BBuster, 12.99 - 3 = 10.00
I pick up Harry Potter Widescreen at 10.00 - 3 = 7.00
Paid about $18 for both
Best of all, some of the HP are not seal, I can check to get the perfect condition dvd.

Is the Blockbuster one the same version as your would get in retail? I've heard that sometimes Blockbuster DVD's are pan&scan and limited to dubbed sound tracks.

I rented this from Netflix and it was like in the art-house theatre.

Im not sure where you heard that, but at my blockbuster, they are all retail version. Perhaps in the past they were different, but previously viewed products are a big part of their marketing strategy these days, so its all retail stuff.

I've gotten a lot of BlockBuster pre viewed DVDs. All of them are retail. This rumor that BB makes it's own versions is up there with a high carb diet being good for you.
