Lol keep moving the goal posts kid. Restricting a right is not the same as not having a right. And the last two links were to show you your points only related to one country and not Europe as whole.

Still waiting for your facts though.

Then you should reread your own links to be better informed. The fact that the paternity test bans only apply to France does not invalidate the criticism of Eurozone, especially considering that the rest of them have been deafeningly silent on the issue. That's about as idiotic as claiming that the majority of financial fraud was committed in NY, therefore the US as a whole should not be criticized for the refusal to criminally prosecute the fraud.

I've worked in many countries many companies and never had any that didn't give paid vacation. IM kinda workaholic so I only took a week and half of vacation a year, or sometimes two Weeks if I were visiting my family. and i just give them sick leaves from the doctor and they wont deduct my salary. My company gives 3 Weeks of paid vacation and if you decided to not using it, they will pay you the remaining paid vacation every end of the year. I get 1 month worth of salary for my bonus every year plus the remaining paid vacation.

I haven't had a vacation day since Dec 2011. You can bet your ass I would like one right now

On a side note, I have not "lost" any of my vacation time, it's been building up and will shortly max out. Once I'm in my use it or lose it scenario, I'll be taking at least 2-3 days off a month...

I hope :\

EDIT
Just checked, I have around I have around 350 useable hours built up. This is $ guaranteed to me to be paid out if I am fired/quit or to be used as vacation time.

I like to have this cushion when I start a new job

Yeah except France is its own country with its own laws that don't cross it's boarder.

Your statements get dumber by the post.

Which is located in Europe. And no other country that I know of outside Europe adopted a similar law. But keep up the dance, it's almost as fun as watching any other apologist claiming "not all XXXXXX are like that"

Good day.

Too bad. Because I knew I was arguing with a schizophrenic retard who'd accuse people of the very same tactics he prefers to use.

I can only assume that you complained even more vocally during the previous presidency.

http://politic365.com/2012/05/08/obamas-vacations-of-any-president-bush-racked-up-the-most/

Calls to several Presidential libraries reveal that President Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, was on vacation more — 1,020 days — than any U.S. President since Herbert Hoover and possibly more than any other President in history.

Even President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was in office 12 years from 1933 to 1945, was on vacation less days than President Bush at 958 days. Calls to several Presidential Libraries reveal that no President can come close to Bush’s 1,020 days on vacation in an 8 year period. Even Lyndon Johnson, who spent 484 days at his ranch in Texas and at Camp David during his presidency, came in under Bush’s vacation time. Some claim the cost of Bush’s frequent trips to Crawford, Texas cost taxpayers upwards of $20 million, but the numbers are hard to confirm.

<snip>. In 2005, the Washington Post noted President Bush’s frequent vacations in a piece titled Vacationing Bush Poised to Set a Record as Bush took the longest single vacation — 5 weeks — of any President in 36 years.

President Bush spent 32% of his presidency on vacation.

Im laughing at the mention of FDR taking less vacation

most of his presidency was during a world war, so why would that be surprising or of mention.....

and not that its relevant but I dont think camp david counts as a vacation

back on topic

24 days vacation, 9 holidays, 2 floater holidays, 25 sick days

max vac bacnk is like 44 days, and you can only carry over 12 sick days to the bank, only the first 12 days are eligible, if you use 12 you carry over none

2 jobs before that were 10 holidays, and starting at 12, and 15 days paid vacation when I started

Do you guys prefer long vacation like almost a month or just like for a week or a few days? I cant stand long vacation though. Even a week seems to long for me.

Funny thing is we are suppose to have a cap of 640 hours here, but it isn't enforced and we have people with over 2000 hours

I think some times these people get an Email asking them to try to take some more vacation, but nothing is actually done to enforce it.

I find it sad someone would even want o accumilate 2000 hours. He does know there is no prize for most hours saved right? Guy needs to get out and enjoy the world. He sounds like a "work to live" loser.

Sad thread because this is the way our country is headed. Some people don't even take a vacay due to fear of being fired. So basically work yourself to death, and the company gets paid due to the insurance policy they took out on you and the cycle repeats.

I for one love to work my whole life away for some 1% to make huge profits off of my blood sweat and tears. Vacation is for the weak. There will be time to rest when i die.
