I agree with you on just too much fucking Lady Gag-a-Gag. Can't act. Isn't eye-candy. Has the screen presence of wallpaper.

I'm wondering if she or her record company paid someone off to get her on this season. I'd rather deal with having to watch another season of that aged, sun-dried, wrinkled saddlebag Jessica Lange who spends more time lighting/smoking cigs than she does anything else.

I'm wondering if they're ever going to recapture the magic and general "WTF-ness" that was Season 1 and 2 ever again. Season 3 was bleh, emo, and a blatant attempt to get the Twilight Dawn crowd. Season 4 was a bleh attempt at more shock than substance. This season is quickly on it's way to a bleh attempt at 50 Shades of Gray meets Twilight.

This show has been nothing but disappointing since the first season IMO.

Now it's just trying too hard to be edgy, gory, etc and not worth the effort.

I think it's pretty solid so far. I loved season 1 and season 2. Season 3 (Coven) was garbage, mainly due to the all female cast and the writing done for them. Season 4 was a disaster with a good premise and terrible pacing.

Seasons 2 through 4 were all about Jessica Lange. Now that she's gone and Sarah Paulson isn't a main character... not much going on.

It isn't scary at all, and the amount of blood being spewed about doesn't really bring anything to the table.
Yeah, they are vamps, we get it.
Horror is supposed to be an overwhelming and painful feeling caused by something frightfully shocking, terrifying, or revolting; a shuddering fear.

So far it is meh.
Gaga brings nothing to the table, and actually is hurting the show.
The other characters are also annoying so far.

Still on the fence for this season though.

Yes but there are still other threads that remain untied and characters/situations are focused on so keenly in some episodes then go away and aren't touched upon for a while, in some cases not at all so far. The season is really letting me down with how much confusion they are causing by trying to be so stylistic with the filming.

I was waiting for the little girl on the morgue slab to sit up. I was disappointed.
I also am starting to think that there are no "vampires" at all.

That's a serious oversight. With how little self-control those little shits had, entire neighborhoods should be empty now.

That basically sums up this season.

I think this was the worst season so far.

The Swedish chicks made a comeback...which was unexpected, and that whole "reborn" scene was...face it, made no sense. He wanted to be killed by all of them, then Gaga comes in, and kills him instead?

They brought in the psychic to try to tie all the loose ends, but, it seems too contrived.

I'd given up on this version Horror Story around episode 7.

Might have to watch the end, Gaga really never impressed me much in general any thing she did.

Madonna 2.0, with less talent really IMHO.

Was surprised this past week was the finale before I saw it -- obvious finale from watching.

It was okay. Liked it a bit better than Freak Show last season. They really jacked up the T&A this past season though.

I wasn't impressed by her performance but I think she was competent.

They did try to cram too much into the last episode. They would have been much better off distributing some of the story in the few previous episodes. The series didn't really seem to go anywhere. You had the main story line of the commandment killings, which turned out to be pretty interesting, but there was an awful lot of fluff in most episodes - things that didn't tie in with the main arc or related subplots.

Coven was much, much better. And since LG isn't really an actress, they needed to write the role to her abilities. So I sort of understand the limitations the producers had but I still think they could have done much better.

Same. I think she did fine as an actress... but award worthy? Jessica Lange deserved her 1 or 2 awards without a doubt. Her stage presence was amazing.
