American Horror Story Season 6 (starts 9/14)

Word is, episodes 1-5 is one thing, episodes 6-9 are their own thing and then episode 10 is something all its own.

Hmm... we will see.
It has been incredibly annoying so far (for this "true story"), it took $25K (for a physic) to 'discover' is was the 'butcher' who ate the raw heart of a pig (who was killed by a demon?), then cleaved everyone for revenge except her son, but then the demon(?) goes and does it with the husband? Then out of nowhere, you got 2 boys suckling from a pig?

This season has to be the weirdest starting one of any show that I can remember, and this documentary style blows chunks.

After experiencing a major drop last week, FX’s “American Horror Story” continued to dip in the Wednesday cable ratings this week. It wasn’t as big a drop this time, going from a 1.8 to a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49. Once again, it still managed to grab the top spot of the night though.

So the first tri-season ended... glad that part is done with, it was pretty bad.

Now, something called Roanoke is next.
Not 100% sure, but I assume it will have something to do with this:

The Roanoke Colony, also known as the Lost Colony, was established on Roanoke Island in what is today's Dare County, North Carolina, United States. It was a late 16th-century attempt by Queen Elizabeth I to establish a permanent English settlement. The colony was founded by Sir Walter Raleigh.

The colonists disappeared during the Anglo-Spanish War, three years after the last shipment of supplies from England. Their disappearance gave rise to the nickname "The Lost Colony." There has been no conclusive evidence as to what happened to the colonists

It's been AHS: Roanoke since the start of the season as far as I'm aware. Kathy Bates was the Roanoke colony leader/murderer.

Last night was episode 5 and the story of Sarah Paulson and Cuba was wrapped up... but it looks like next week, episode 6, is going to twist it. They were all in a dream? No clue.

I still have not watched the 6th season any yet

But even watching the end last couple of the 5th the other day was better than many things.

The wife has a few people she works with that likes Season 6, and she didn't like season 5, so I image we will be watching it soon probably.

Every damn horror movie the person gets away by just knocking the bad guy out momentarily then get killed later.

Yes! This is how you do it! Person was just trying to kill you or already got your friends, return the damn favor and get rid of the threat.

WTH, a studio audience? "Fans" wearing pig masks? "Fans" making youtube vids?
Seriously, WTH?
Then we got "crack'd" that "explains" about how a murderer became famous?
"Spirit chasers" that try to find out if "all of this was real"?
Then we go back to what's her name, and she gets the little ghost girl to shoot her, so she can protect her, and the house blows up because of a gas leak?

This was the worst season of AHS of all time, nothing else before it can compare how bad this season was.
What a dud.

I absolutely agree. Every season so far has been a bit of a disappointment to me but this one was just plain stinko. If I saw it as a "B" rated flick in a drive in movie Id feel the same way, not worth the price of admission.

My wife and I gave up on this season after the twist where the actors and real people went back to the house. Was just a bad season overall. I get annoyed by this show because at times it has potential to be awesome but it ends up doing something to ruin it. Asylum would've been great had it just been a messed up asylum, but then they threw aliens into the mix. Stuff like that.
