Americans and their ugly fuel eating cars

Why do most americans drive around town in big V8 cars which "MOST" of them are pig ugly?

and us europeans drive smaller more efficient and environmentally friendly cars which are still relatively fast big not as ugly....

Because a lot of your cars aren't AS fast and they definitely are not AS big. With gas prices where they are in the US do you really blame people in the us for driving 15 mpg vehicles? Gas prices are rock bottom in this country.

etc... all get roughly 30+mpg and are extremely fast (MODERN ENGINES)

Actually, the vast majority of pollution from road vehicles comes from commercial vehicles.

V10 well the car itself.. (cos i wouldnt buy an OLD V10 engine) would cost like £50,000+ easily.

insurance... for me? young driver? £6000 a year if they insure me.

but do I want a V10?

no I dont even want a V6.

I want a VW Golf GTI TD PD 150 chipped to 180bhp.

cos they get 45mpg+ and do 150mph +
