AMEX BVG excluded items

I am trying to PM with AMEX for the inkjet cartridges and photo papers. According to AMEX representatives, the items are not covered
because they are not durable goods (consumerable items for limited time). Does anyone have any experience regarding the items like these? Please tell me your opinions and experiences. Thanks.

Also, AMEX will only PM if the amount is greater than $10, I believe.

LOL, sounds like someone got turned down for an Amex Blue.

I understand that AMEX will match the price difference over $10. But, Amex also can match the price of the multiple quantities. So, even if
the price difference of per item is less than $10, if you buy the item 2 or more, I think you can ask pricematch. Is this information correct?

Not necessarily; I was able to PM 10 packs of 4x6 canon photo paper pro that I ordred from canon's e-store directly - saved over $6 per pack - that's over $60. Not too ridiculous, now is it?

I have had no problems pricematching phototype printing papers and dye sublimaze cartridges for BVG. AMX has always been very pleasant to deal with.
