AMEX concerns.... staples and rebate.

Recently, i've tried to max out my Blue AMEX BVG.. but just found out that they might not process the STaples purchases, due to the staples Pricematch policy? has anyone has experiences on this? Also, one of the lower price source that i claim for, has the phase 'price after price break, savins and rebate' in the printout, would AMEX also award the claim with the rebate information printout on the claim document? ThanX.. just wanna know and hope this would help other members who try to max out as well
