amex pm @ 800.com

Can someone confirm whether they've done a pm w/ amex blue w/ stuff they've bought at 800.com. problem I see is that 800.com has existing "best price" guarantee, which would not be covered by amex pm policy. any comments?

answer: as long as the PM with amex it outside the one offered by 800.com you are good to go. ie if 800.com policy is 30days, and you call amex and do the claim 31 days after purchase, you should be good. Or if it is with a store they dont list, etc

800.com price match policy is for 30 days (i believe), while AMEX is for 60 days. so just PM after the 30 days but before the 60 days.

I don't understand why I would have to wait the 30 days before price matching with Amex. I mean, is Amex gonna look at 800.com's price matching policy and tell me that they won't pricematch because 800.com has their own price matching policy?

I was just told that 800.com, as of January 10, 2002, no longer has a price guarantee.
