Im sorry to bother everyone, but with all the awesome amex blue pm deals, Im sure a lot of people are curious.

1. What is the best way to PM.
-Is the email way confirmed?
-if not, is it traditional to call. And then what info do you need to provide?

2. What amount do they refund?
- do they refund your purchase price with the matched price?
- that being the case, would it matter how much you pay initially, since you are getting the lowest price anyway?

Again, sorry to be a pain. Any info would help a lot. Thanks everyone

This is not the right forum to do it.

1.You have to call Amex no matter what. After they give you the claim number, you can either email the evidences or fax them. I've done email and it seems to work fine (they reply to you a confirmation email).

2. This info can be found if you READ the amex rules.
limit is $250 per purchase.

Yes, I'm being pissy tonight.

What kind of evidence do they usually need? If its a web site you are price matching, I assume you can just email them the web address right? If you are pricematching a price you saw in a newspaper ad or on the shelf at the retail store, how would you handle that? Just got my Blue card so I'm a newbie to all this. THanks.

I filed a couple of claims yesterday. The CSR was really nice as usual. I asked her if I could just E-mail the URL. She said no because the web page price might change by the time the reviewer looked at it. I didn't press the issue further except to say I had read that E-mail would be OK. In addition to the web page printout, they also need a copy of the receipt.

I always print out the web page, or better yet...the cart, esp. if using a coupon. Call up and fax in the original receipt and printouts, with claim #. Never a problem.

Can anybody confirm that your blue pm check has been received recently? It should be received in two weeks.

The only Blue claim I made, the check arrived 25 days after I mailed the printouts - longer than I expected, and long enough to make me nervous, but they came through.

You can always call back and give them the claim number, they will tell you the status. either it's "In Process" or "Check Mailed"

Based on past experience, yes, within two weeks you should get your check..

I got a question too, anyone have any success doing blue pm when the purchase you made used a coupon?

Is there a web form I can fill out for a claim or maybe an e-mail link for sending in documentation?

The Price matching isn't just for the Amex blue card, most of the amex cards have it. Just go to the american express website and check out if your card has Price matching (or Best Value).

Crap... I just got an AmEx Blue letter saying this:

<< When looking at the store receipt you faxed in there was a $40.00 coupon. I divided the coupon in half, since there were 2 large items purchased making the printer a lesser price than the advertisement you faxed. >>

This was when I was trying to claim $18 back! (It's not much, but that's gas money for a couple weeks!) :| I've PMed 3 times before with coupons and they all worked before! Looks like it's time to resend it!

What kind of receipt do they accept as copy?

fax in or email in (scanned copy/jpg pics by a digital camera will do?) or snail mail?

What is their hours of operation?

Thanks.
