BenQ, Acer, and Qnix make 32" monitors based off of these panels. They have a 3000:1 contrast ratio compared to the 1000:1 most IPS panels have. I've also read that they overclock well without frame skipping.

Anyone on here have experience with these monitors?

Bought the BenQ BL3200PT.

The first thing I noticed was that the contrast levels were amazing. This is the feature that motivated me to buy the monitor. The contrast is far better compared to my DoubleSight DS-307W and the EQD Auria EQ308C I tried out earlier this month. I've used IPS panels for several years now and forgot just how much better contrast can be on a VA panel.

One thing I was worried about was black crush. While there is some, it's subtle and not overpowering. I only notice it when really look for it using images with vast dark colors. Black crush isn't as bad as what it use to be with earlier VA panels.

The panel has zero dead pixels and the backlight bleed is very very minimal. I can't even tell there is any with a black background and sitting about 3 feet away. I have to put my face right up to the display in order to detect the small amount of light coming from the bottom corners.

A big bonus is that there is zero "IPS glow". There is heavy gamma shift if you look at the display at extreme levels. The levels are great when looking at the monitor from dead on.

BenQ probably spent considerable time designing the stand for this monitor, but it just isn't my cup of tea. Instead, I'm using the stand from my DoubleSight monitor. It's standard VESA 100mm x 100mm. It doesn't wobble and I can adjust the height lower to where I want it. Plus it's all black, which is what I prefer.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and glad that I went with a VA panel this time around. It's going to be used as my main display.

Had a Qnix 320QHD the last couple of days.

Current lineup is a 2xQnix 27in with a 4k Samsung u28d590.

Its gonna be sold since the 32 is great and I might go triple 32s.

According to OC.net there is around 20-23ms of lag, similar to the multi-input Qnix 27s.

I would be all over a "bypassed" DVI-D dual link version...

Just looking at the keyboard is enough to compare

Freaking love these monitors... Eyefinity on them is just crazy!

Considering one of these. As a plasma TV owner, the contrast levels of IPS panels make me want to barf. They're fine for web-browsing and what-not, but if you're playing a game that has dark areas, they're fucking hideous.

Just bought a BenQ BL3200PT.

Currently available from Newegg.com for $599.99 free shipping after promo code 1119NEMP12 listed on the product page:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824014372

Edit: Don't forget if you use an eligible AMEX card you can get 1 year additional warranty through AMEX. So I'll have Newegg's "Iron Egg" guarantee through January 31, 2015, then the duration of the 3 year BenQ warranty, then the 1 year from AMEX.

tl;dr I bought the BenQ vs the Qnix because of the better stand, truly flicker free (non PWM) backlight, and superior build quality and warranty.

Been about 2 weeks and still am impressed with how good the BenQ looks!

I think if I went with King's setup, i'd probably never leave my office

Got my monitor today. Looks great and impressed... except I am experiencing the same flashing/flickering problem people on [H] are running into.

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1803982&page=64

Model name: BL3200PT
Vender: Qisda
Panel: AUM320DVN01.0
Scaler: MST 9687D
F/W Version: V02/20140324
June 2014 Manufacture
Rev: 00-121-BA

Purchased 11/24/2014 from Newegg.com

Edit: Problem seems to not be occurring at Sharpness setting of 1. Going to do more testing since I can't send it back until after Thanksgiving anyways... may be some settings changes I can make to "fix" it.

I've not seen that issue.

The only problem i've seen is that 1-2 times a week i get the 'no source detected' message. Never had that before with a monitor ever. However, i'm not sure how to tell if it's the monitor, video card or DP cable.

I suppose i could switch cables...

Sucker still looks gorgeous though
