Very toxic, but the effects of alcohol are quite pleasent indeed, even compared to some of the illicit options out there. Plus you don't have to hide it.

I probably drink 10x the driving limit on a weekly basis.
She died because her body was weak from all the other drug abuse in her life, not from one night of barely respectable bing drinking.

I doubt she was counting her drinks, thinking this is about what I used to drink, lol. She had the disease of "more" like most drunks/addicts- more of this, more of that, more of anything and everything. There's no thoughts of "maybe I've had enough" or that they have reached a comfortable high, just more.To be fair she was past the LD50 for alcohol. Most people at 416mg per 100ml or .416 would either be dead or close to it. Severe respiratory depression starts occurring around .350, so .416 is definitely enough to kill someone.
It's more like she had been sober for a while and her body wasn't used to that much alcohol. But she remembered drinking that much in the past and surviving, except now her body was prepared for it and....well it led to her death.

Honestly though I was just thinking that in the UK it was lower like .06 but I think it is .08 there as well.
