anyhow the problem is that his little invention violates the first law of themodynamics.

I'll leave it at that.

But still his family is in the oil business. Here are more links. All i'm saying is that i'm sure someone high up in the government or a government agency had something to do with it. HEre are more link:

Wow, you are a real piece of work. I'll have some of whatever you're smoking.

Well it seems they figured a way around that. Watch that other link. Some Filipino dude actually has a car running on water now. I dont know when this video was made, but we can make cars run on water right now. But of course we won't see it happen until the oil companies can figure a way to make money off of it.

They figured a way around the first law of thermo?

Not directly, he's not creating energy, he's breaking up water molecules. It sounds like he's creating resonance in his electrodes, which will can give him greatly amplified power. I wouldn't be all that surprised if he has a vastly more efficient method of splitting water.

That said, if he's dead I'm sure someone else got all his info, and his patents are on record so you could, in theory, look them up and see for yourself. I'm too lazy.

It Runs on Water is a video with Stanley Meyer demonstrating the water fuel cell in a car. Meyer claimed that he could run a 1.6 liter Volkswagen dune buggy on water instead of gasoline. He replaced the spark plugs with "injectors" to spray a fine mist into the engine cylinders, which he claimed were electrified at a resonant frequency. The fuel cell would split water into hydrogen and oxygen gas, which would combust back into water vapor in a conventional hydrogen engine to produce net energy. Estimates made showed that only 22 US gallons (83 L) of water were required to travel from one US coast to the other. Meyer also demonstrated his vehicle for his city's local news station Action 6 News.

The vehicle failed to work during a required demonstration of the water-fueled car in a 1990 court case. An Ohio court found Stanley Meyer guilty of "gross and egregious fraud" in a case brought against him by disgruntled investors. The court decided that the centerpiece of the car, his water fuel cell, was a conventional electrolysis device, and he was ordered to repay the investors $25,000.

Stanley Meyer died after eating at a restaurant on the 21st March 1998. An autopsy report showed the cause of death to be poisoning, leading to widespread conspiracy theories[6] regarding the oil companies' and the US government's involvement in his death. The question still remains, however that somehow this vehicle ran on water. A satisfactory answer to this question has yet to have been resolved.

so perhaps it was not a conspiracy but someone who he owed money to or his wife who was pissed that he cost them a fortune....just a thought

The lesson here is Don't steal from the mob!

So you're saying you can violate the laws of thermodynamics? Sweet!

You guys are crazy. like the oil company could actually keep this out, or bush's family could actually stop it.

I pretty sure a private equity firm would have snatched it up a made a trillion bucks.

Thermodynamics says it's impossible as it takes as much energy to split the water molecule as the energy gained from the hydrogen. But with catalysts, the reaction could be sped up and made more efficient so that you can actually gain something from the reaction. But the problem now is finding that catalyst.
Point being, his invention is possible with the introduction of a catalyst.

Some people just can't believe the fact that science and it's possibilities sometimes stretch the boundaries. "omg run on water that's funny" Yeah, well the same thing was said about a lot of things. Here's one hope in using boron to produce hydrogen.

Using hydrogen as an immediate fuel source is much more feasible than producing hydrogen on the vehicle. Filling up on hydrogen would be much cheaper, emit a ton less greenhouse gases, and is technically safer.

You know what they say, laws are made to be broken

Wow, I really can't figure you out. Are you simply trolling for fun, or are you truly that retarded to believe this crap?? But, apparently, no only is the oil industry in on the conspiracy, but also EVERY scientist on Earth. (If a scientist actually did find a "way around" the LAWS of thermodynamics, it would
A) turn science upside down
B) earn the inventor a million dollars for the Nobel (just for starters.)

All arguments aside, I'm not one to argue against physics. Thermodynamics isn't just a good idea, it's the law.

Sorry, hydrogen is NOT a fuel source, unless you're referring to nuclear fusion. There is no way to separate hydrogen from water without an alternate energy source.

Ah I let that slip. I know it's just a "transfer medium".
I meant to just say "fuel".

This must be false because car's can't run on JUST electricity right? I mean electric cars will never exist, right?

You have to understand these boneheads probably think you meant to say thermos. You know that thing you put hot or cold liquids in to magically keep their temperature? They have no idea what you're talking about. I blame the public education system which, well at least here, says you must take 4 years of social studies and english but only 2 years of math and science to graduate high school. There's your no child left behind. FFS they're all left behind! Text

Water vapor isn't a greenhouse gas.

Cars CAN run on JUST electricity and electric car HAVE existed. Basically, electrically energy is converted to mechanical energy. They are just not very practical due to their mileage per charge of the battery used.

Water vapor is a greenhouse gas. In fact, it's the most abundant and effective greenhouse gas. Without it, climate would change so fast that the earth would not sustain life.
