I love this board, I have been a lurker for years and still am, sorry, I just don't have that much to say. Anyway, I am trying to help others here. I live in Chicago, I have a friend with a great band that is trying to win a spot to play on Lollapalooza. Please check them out, they rock. If you read the rules all they need to do is place in the top 100 for round 1.

Sorry, should I have said the Anandtech effect? Thank you to those who have helped out. Thanks for checking out my post count, you know, it is not about the quantity but the quality of the post that count! I only post to help, or to get some help. Not everyone spends there day in front of a computer! Some of us just do it as a hobby.

Really, I spend most my time on AnandTech, reading and learning about what others are thinking, rarely do I feel the need to share my own opinions. That is just me but thank you for helping out, I certainly love that this board is here, even if it is just so I can waste my precious free time reading about what others think.

I will try to bump it up to at least one post per year!

Shawn had it right. There's no U sound in our name the last time I checked. The O sound is tricky though, it has a the tinge of an A in there too.

I try to keep my opinion to myself, where it probably belongs. See, look at me now, trying to push my post count beyond ten. That would be crazy.

I am usually outside all day trying to keep all you damn office dwellers cool or in a basement doing the same. Computer time is a luxury, but thank you for your vote, I do appreciate any help that I can give to my friend.

These guys have a great band. I have known the lead singer for awhile and he is a great guy. Started out playing guitar at lunchtime at Potbelly's, if you are from Chicago you know Potbelly's. Started a band with his roommates and they are great old time rock and roll. If you have a chance and live in Chicago check them out. It is definately a good time. They play their own stuff and it is actually good. Thank you to all that have helped.

P.S. I am not a band member, though I should be, I play a mean triangle. I just like to help my friends out if I can.

So, that is the real pronunciation, stated by Shawn and confirmed by Ryan Smith? Is there a mod to help out?
