okay correct me if im wrong.. but isn't he in college still? and he's hosting his own web page, viewed by millions of people around the world.. how the hell does he have time to do all this crap? that's freaking crazy... and how does he get all hte hardware to run tests on... i remmeber reading he reviewed a flat screen monitor.. i mean how can a college student throw down $2k to review a monitor..

company must be sending him their products or something. hwo did he get the new nvidia drivers?? so many questions.. so little time


anand should get a medal of being the most bussy college student in the world..

I'm sure a lot of the hardware is sent to him free of charge and most of it probably needs to be returned. He does make a lot of money off of this web site, though. There are ads on the tops and bottoms of every screen.

Was introduced to Anandtech back in february of 1999 and have been hooked ever since. I saw a report on anand a little before I joined the forums here. Seems like an incredibly smart individual whose self motivation basically created what we've come to use and enjoy...Crazy? Nah...insightful and smart...You Bet Your Ass!

I can't speak for Anandtech but other smaller less reputable sites get to keep much of the hardware they review, so I'd imagine the situation is similar with Anand.
The only things I'm doubting he get's to keep are entire systems, or the Kryotech setup, $2000 LCD monitors etc.
