sent them an email to let them know thier site design was completely ripped of. Hopefully they fire their design firm, at the least.

Even if it was from the same template, they ripped off part of the AT logo. I highly doubt that AT is that similar to any CF template. It was been modified so much that it can be copyrighted as unique.

I just posted it in Forums Issues. I noticed that the Copyright date span (1997-2001) at the bottom of the page had expired, so I gave him a heads up. Wonder what he'll do with em.

Actually, they do. The basic way the site WORKS is exactly the same. Newegg simply changed some graphics.

Well the basic way these forums work is identical to just about every other forum on the net. Does that mean that the person who originally made a form can claim copyright? Nope.

Nope. Not at all. In fact, MWave has a page that explains they are not in any way linked to any other companies, and that other companies have ripped off their web design.

The BattCave isn't using ColdFusion.
ColdFusion also doen't come with any predesigned templates.

It's a blatent rip-off, funny how some web designers can't even actually design? I mean how can you call yourself a web-design firm if all you do is rip off other peoples work without trying to have one ounce of orginality . All these copy cats are doing is taking the HTML of the site, the cf cannot be touched or copied. The HTML framework is about .1% of the AT site as everything is dynamic driven content. We'll deal with this

MWave hasn't sued anyone. So WTF does that matter? The fact remains that Newegg copied their design.
